Our crates

One crate, built around one animal.

Every Air Crates build starts with your pet's measurements and your airline's rules, and ends as a rigid, quiet, comfortable wooden crate that is ready for the hold.

What every crate is made of

Treated timber shell. Rigid walls that don't flex, bow or rattle in handling, with a leak-proof base and smooth interior with nothing for a nervous animal to chew or catch on.

Secure metal hardware. A door your pet cannot open and a handler cannot get wrong, fixed with metal fittings throughout.

Ventilation where the regulations require it. Openings sized and positioned to comply with IATA Live Animals Regulations, Container Requirement 1, and adjusted where an airline asks for more.

Sound insulation. Aircraft holds are loud. We insulate every crate so the journey is quieter inside than out, which matters more to most pets than anything else we do.

Vetbed and incontinence pads. Fitted as standard, so your pet travels dry and comfortable from check-in to collection.

Dogs

From terriers to giant breeds, sized to the IATA formula from your four measurements. Snub-nosed breeds get larger builds and extra ventilation, as most airlines require.

Cats

Smaller builds, same standards: rigid, secure, quiet and bedded. Twin-cat crates with a divider are available where your airline permits animals travelling together.

Oversize and unusual builds

Giant breeds, multiple animals and dimensions that no standard kennel covers. If it can travel safely, we can build for it. Tell us what's flying and we'll tell you how.
